Our bespoke Maths for Mums ’n’ Dads course is specifically designed for parents who want to improve their maths skills. It will equip you with the tools required to not only help your child with the challenges they face at primary school and early on in secondary school, but also in the work place. Going right back to basics; starting with addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, we will provide you with the vital skills you will need in the real world when it comes to using and applying maths. Perhaps you want to switch mortgage provider and want to understand how to get the best deal, or perhaps it’s a credit card or car finance.
It is very important that we see mathematics, and the calculations we perform, as a necessary part of our daily lives. We provide opportunities to apply basic concepts and operations found in everyday activities, thereby reinforcing your skills and motivating you to progress in mathematics.
Who is this course for?
For anyone aged 18 or over, particularly parents who wish to help their children with their maths homework from primary school. There are no formal entry requirements for this course, and it is unassessed. A certificate of attendance & achievement will be issued upon completion of this course.
