Positions: Teachers of English, Mathematics & Science
When: Week Days 3.30pm to 8.30pm & School Holidays
Hours: Various, from 5 to 25 per week
Axiom is committed to providing the highest quality of learning for all of our students on every course. We are always keen to hear from outstanding teachers of core subjects who are capable of teaching across the age and ability range, particularly Key Stage 3 & 4. An ability and aspiration to teach A-Level would be a distinct advantage. Positions will be offered to successful applicants on a part-time free-lance basis during school holiday periods.
Our ideal candidate will:
- Be a highly motivated and competent teacher
- Have experience of developing and improving resources in their core subject area
- Have a proven track record for delivering good results at KS 3 & 4
- Exude a passion for English, Maths & Science which is evident in their day to day practice
- Inspire motivate and excite the students about core subjects
- Be a reflective practitioner
- Understand the significance of current changes to the core curriculum subjects
- Be committed to Axiom’s ethos of high expectations
